As of the time I am writing this post, some areas in iligan city, specifically the remote, mountain areas, and even in the city proper itself are allegedly being attacked by MILF (moro rebels).
Some people have reported having heard gun shots in the city proper itself (commercial center)and even explosions in mountain areas.
I'm not that far from the city proper where gunshots are heard. I'm a bit scared. I've never been in this situation and for heavens sake I don't want to experience this.
I think Iligan City is prepared enough to fight off the moro rebels. But things can still go wrong. I try to shake off my fear but that's a tough thing to do.
People here in the place where I am now are very vigilant. They are in the streets talking about things, supporting each other and devising ways to survive in this dreadful situation.
